Bulbophyllum cocoinum is also called the “Coconut Bulbophyllum” as the fragrance is heavly fragrant of coconuts.
The inflorescences are 6″ -15″ long. Each produces 15-25 flowers. The flowers are approximately 1″ long. Typically colored white with a pink blush.
Grow this plant in bright indirect light – to encourage flowering, allow a temperature difference of 10 deg c.
Blooms in autumn and winter.
The plant is grown in trays, but packaged carefully and sent out bare root.

The orchid arrived in a good state, well packaged upgraded to “flowering”, but with no information about growing etc. I also received a free bulb, pleione sp.I have no greenhouse but use the conservatory that has underfloor heating.Both are on a plant stand, shaded by other plants. I hope they grow and survive and will review again later.
