Bulbophyllum Vindobona is a stunning orchid hybrid with deep red flowers with frilly tufts growing from the tips of the dorsal and sepals. Very showy, grows into a fantastic specimen, and is hardy, easy to grow and flower.

Bulbophyllum Vindobona is commonly seen as Bulbophyllum rothschildianum but latest research indicates that this is a primary hybrid between B. rothschildianum crossed with B. ornatissimum although this name is not yet accepted by Kew. The real rothschildianum is very rare and hard to find. Regardless of the name this is one of our all time favourite orchids worthy of a place in any orchid collection.

These cuttings are taken as divisions from our mother plants, so the flowers will match the attached pictures.
