Paphiopedilum Maudiae Green (album) ‘Femma’ Slipper Orchid is ideal as a gift or your 1st Paphiopedilum plant.
These crosses have been grown to flower easily and sequentially they will flourish in the home, given the basic care.
What is super exciting about these Paphiopedilum maudiae hybrids are that they are alluring, mysterious, and highly desirable.
The flowers measure up to 8 cm wide and are borne on a terminal, single-flowered inflorescence. The flowers consist of a white, dorsal sepal with green vein running along its length. The lateral petals are light green, covered with small protrusions with green veins running along its length, the flower lip is yellow-green in colour.
The foliage is a solid shiny, mottled green, which is attractive when not in flower. We find them vigorous, compact and beautiful!
They grow approx 25cm tall, we grow them in a lightly shaded position (protected from direct sun) – 15c minumum. They appreciate growing on a tray of pebbles.
Occasionally, we will individually list them for flower quality on select plants.
PLEASE NOTE: Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.
